Our Work

Over the past three decades, our founder David Evans has been involved in many projects in the property industry.

Below we’ve put together some of our work that we’ve undertaken for previous clients:

Black Country Development Corporation

Over the course of a number of years, we worked as a consultant for the Black Country Development Corporation, which worked on the development, building and sale of buildings across the West Midlands.

Panel Surveyors for the Big Lenders

Over the years we’ve worked as panel surveyors for some of the biggest lenders in the industry, such as Halifax, Leeds, Nationwide and Abbey National.

In some cases, independent Chartered Surveyors such as ourselves are often brought in during this process, to provide honest, impartial advice and we’ve done this for many years for some of the country’s biggest law firms.

Market Valuations for Housing Associations

We’ve worked with Housing Associations to produce market valuations for rental and sales properties. We also have a good relationship with many estate agents, as we’ve built up a reputation for being incredibly fair and reasonable with our valuations over the years.

£3 Million Property Survey

We recently surveyed a property valued at almost £3 million.

As a direct result of David’s inspection, he was able to pinpoint repairs which would have cost the potential buyer over £100,000.

We engaged with specialists to repair metal framed windows, collyweston slate, specialist roofers and stone masonry experts.

Once David had handed over his report to the client, they were then able to  incorporate these repairs in regards to costs and budgets before proceeding with the purchase.

Quinquennial Inspections

We recently carried out quinquennial inspections on over fifty properties in a market town close to our base.

We were asked by a local solicitor to inspect all of the properties both inside and out in order to provide a list of repairs that were urgent and some that could be scheduled into their maintenance plans for the next five years.

This also included notifying all trustees of structural concerns, and compiling the inherent issues with each property to help form a management and repair schedule for the coming years.
