VALUATIONS
With over 30 years’ experience in the industry, you can rest assured that you’ll receive a highly accurate valuation from us.
When you’re looking for an independent valuation, you can be guaranteed that David will work closely with you to provide a quality and professional service.
We provide independent valuations for residential properties in Lincolnshire, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, Rutland and Northamptonshire.
The residential property valuation you receive from us will be much more comprehensive than that which you’d receive from an estate agent.
As qualified Chartered Surveyors we have a deep understanding of how to analyse a building’s condition and its state of repair.
What’s more, you’ll receive a report that will justify any conclusions David has come to post-inspection.
Further to this, as a registered valuer, regulated by RICS, our valuations can be used for various official and legal purposes.
Whether you’re looking to purchase a new home or sell your current property, we have the necessary skills to help you and offer a wide range of surveys and reports, along with our valuations.

Probate & inheritance tax valuation
When a family member passes, it’s up to the family to obtain a valuation of their estate, which includes any money, assets, possessions and property.
As part of the probate process, a valuation will be required to confirm the value of the property at the date the individual passed, at which point inheritance tax liability can also be calculated.
Once these have been completed the probate can be granted and any assets can be distributed in accordance with the deceased’s will.
Capital gains tax valuation
If you’ve invested in a property and wish to sell it, you may be subject to capital gains tax on any profit you make.
We’re able to conduct a professional and accurate valuation of the property you wish to sell to ensure you’re fully aware of any taxes you’re liable for.
Matrimonial valuation
We have a great deal of experience in handling matrimonial valuations, which may often need to be used as impartial evidence in court. What’s more, we’re also able to act as an expert witness, which you can find out more about here >
In the event that a married couple wishes to divorce, a financial settlement must be reached. Often the family home and any other properties will be a significant asset that needs to be split into equal parts.
However, the value of any properties must be agreed on by both parties, in which case David will inspect the home and provide an accurate value, presenting details within a comprehensive, unbiased report.
